This column introduces findings and posts news releases from world-famous English language teaching, testing and studying organizations in order to inform Chinese readers of developments in English language teaching. TESOL Academy 2008 to be held soon TESOL Academy 2008 will be held in Roosevelt University, US, June 20-21, 2008. The Academy will provide intensive, hands-on workshops for a wide variety of TESOL practitioners. It features seven 10-hour workshops focused on key issues and areas of practice in the profession, from lesson planning for a multilevel class and helping ELLs (English language learners) succeed in the mainstream classroom to vocabulary in language learning. To meet continuing education requirements, the attendees receive a Certificate of Attendance to verify their participation.
