There are people who put their dreams in a little box and say: “Yes, I’ve got dreams, of course I’ve got dreams.” Then they put the box away and bring it out once in awhile to look in it, and yep, they’re still there. These are great dreams, but they never even get out of the box.

– Erma Bombeck (US humorist, 1927-1996)

Like an unchecked cancer, hate corrodes (侵蚀) the personality and eats away its vital unity. Hate destroys a man’s sense of values and his objectivity. It causes him to describe the beautiful as ugly and the ugly as beautiful, and to confuse the true with the false and the false with the true. – Martin luther King (American activist, humanitarian, leader in the African-American Civil Rights Movement, 1929 – 1968)
