THIS classic by US writer E. B. White was named in Time magazine’s list of classic books for young adults. That is a little surprising. The peculiar thing is that the book is definitely a story for children rather than young adults. And adults, young and old, have enjoyed Charlotte’s Web since its publication in 1951, as well as the age group it was supposed to be aimed at.
