On March 3, families of the passengers on Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 marked the 10th year since the plane’s disappearance. MH370 vanished (失踪) on March 8, 2014, en route (在途中) from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 people, including 154 Chinese passengers, aboard. The families held speeches and presentations, with Malaysian Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook present. “As we approach the 10-year remembrance of this heart-wrenching tragedy (令人心碎的悲剧), it is a painful reminder of the decade-long journey of grief and resilience (坚韧) that loved ones of the victims have endured,” he said at the event.
