Doh! After twenty years of The Simpsons, is the world just one big cartoon?

AFTER being commissioned for a further two series, The Simpsons is set to become the longest running prime-time TV show in US history.

The countdown to the show's 20th anniversary has already begun. A new series begins this September, and another in 2010.
