Critics breathe fire over dragon
The first dragon stamps issued by China Post in 1988 used paper-cutting art to tone down the dragon’s appearance.
The stamp issued in 2000 combined Chinese calligraphy and the dragon pattern of the Qin and Han dynasties for a sense of grace.
