IN Western countries, most kids and their parents follow a strange tradition. When a kid loses a tooth, he or she leaves it under a pillow (枕头) at night for the “Tooth Fairy (仙女)”. In the morning, the Tooth Fairy has left some money where the tooth was. It’s really just parents doing this to make it less scary for kids when they lose teeth.
