‘Till death do us part’

Canadian singer Justin Bieber and US model Hailey Baldwin got married last month. One week after the wedding (婚礼), Hailey posted the first photos of her wedding dress online. In the two photos, the 22-year-old bride wears a semi-sheer (半透明的), off-the-shoulder (露肩的) wedding gown and a sheer veil (头纱) with the words “Till death do us part” on the bottom. Though impressed by the stunning (惊人的) beauty of the dress, some people pointed out that the words on the veil may contain a mistake. The shortened version of “until” is “’til”, so that it should say, “’Til death do us part.”
