Pins design competition2008年奥运会徽章设计大赛启动

THE Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee（北京奥组委） started a design contest for the pins（徽章） of the Beijing Olympic Games on May 18. Submissions（提案） will need to show Olympics, the Olympic sports and Chinese culture themes in their design. All contestants can choose between the four categories in their design - Olympics and Chinese culture, Olympic sports, torch relay, Green Olympics. They can also draw on whatever they can imagine（自由发挥） about the Games. The deadline（最后期限） for submissions is June 30, 2007, and the results will be announced on August 8, 2007. The contest is open to people from the mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. This is a first of its kind in Olympics history.
