汤姆森学习出版集团以77.5亿美元被售出 THOMSON Corporation, one of the leading global providers of information services to business and professional customers, announced that it has signed agreements with funds managed by private equity firms Apax Partners and OMERS Capital Partners. Under the agreements such funds will acquire the higher education, careers and library reference assets of Thomson Learning for $7.75 billion in cash. The sale would fund almost all the planned cash portion of the offer for the leading news agency Reuters. With 45 locations across the US and more than 30 overseas, ELS Language Centers is one of the largest networks of campus-based English language instruction centers in the world. In conjunction with the administration of this test, ELS Language Centers will be ETS’s largest provider of Internet-based testing seats in the US. |  |
