活动介绍

近日，剑桥大学外语考试部将举办“商务英语教师教学技能大赛”，邀请各国优秀的商务英语教师一展风采。优胜者将在剑桥大学参加为期两周的教师进修课程。

入围大赛的必要条件

设计一种能够将新技术应用于商务英语教学活动之中的教学方式。

参赛者请登录剑桥大学外语考试部网站（www.cambridgeesol.org）下载报名表格，提交您的详细信息和教学创意。

大赛奖项

在比赛中获得优胜的两名选手将获得参加剑桥大学为期两周的教学进修课程的机会，进修教师将住宿于剑桥大学Homerton学院，与贝尔国际学校剑桥教师团交流教学经验。大赛奖励包括往返于剑桥的航空及陆路费用。剑桥大学外语考试部的员工将在伦敦机场等候获胜选手抵达，并陪同至入住的剑桥大学Homerton学院。进修课程有以下两种选择:

课程名称:商务英语教学

培训时间:8月16日至29日

课程宗旨:The course will help you find exciting ways to plan and deliver successful Business English courses. You will feel more confident about your understanding of key topics and your own use of business language. You will also explore innovative and interesting materials and teaching ideas.

课程设置:

* This is mainly a practical course and includes: Designing, using and interpreting needs analyses

* Making presentations

* Using graphs, charts and diagrams

* Business collocations, chunks and lexical sets

* Key business speaking skills, e.g. telephoning, showing people round, asking questions at a meeting

* Making business listening less stressful

* The one-to-one student

* Exploiting published materials

* Working with varied learning styles

* Role-play, real-play & simulation

* Improving your intonation and stress

课程名称:应用于语言学习的先进技术

培训时间:8月16日至29日

课程宗旨:The course aims to help you to explore the potential uses of new technologies in language learning.

课程设置:

* New technologies

* Using Moodle or other VLEs (Virtual learning environments)

* Exploiting wikis and blogs

* Blended learning

* Computer mediated communication

* Using the WWW

* Using interactive whiteboards

* Designing web pages using HTML/JavaScript, etc.

* Design your own webquests, games and activities

* Get your students to make their own podcasts

* Messenger and other computer-mediated communication

评审细则

Judging will be undertaken by a panel of judges from Bell International.

Entries will be assessed based on the following criteria:

* Creativity

* Practicality

* Originality

The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The two winners will be selected within 7 days of the close of the close of the competition.

Two winners will be contacted, no other entries will be acknowledged directly.

Cambridge ESOL will make all reasonable endeavours to contact the winners within 7 days of selecting the winning entries. If either winner cannot be contacted within that time, their prize shall be forfeited and the judges shall select a new winning entry.

Once the winners have been notified, the winners will be required to confirm within a then specified time frame that they will attend the course and have a valid right to enter the United Kingdom for the purpose of attending the course.
