D1 1-3 CCB

D2 1-4 CBDD

D3 1-3 BDB

D4 1-4 BABD

D5 1-5 BCBAA 6-10 CCBAA   11-15 BCCCA  16-20 ABBBA

解析

D1 1-3 CCB

1.  C。 When today’s teenagers retire, they will look back on a career of “numerous micro-jobs”  rather than a long service for a single company.

Michel believes that it’s best for young people not to picture a single role doctor, engineer or architect (建筑师) but to think about skills they can learn that will enable them to fit into different situations.

D2 1-4 CBDD

1.  C。根据第二段The genius (过人之处) of the show is that it has something to offer both adults and children. Before it appeared, cartoons were considered a way to learn and have fun, not serious adult entertainment. The Simpsons changed this.

2.  B。根据第四段the Simpsons are a dysfunctional (功能失调的) family. The shows creator Matt Groening, and the brilliant team that work with him, make fun of the US government可知A选项错误;C选项错在Lisa不是troublemakerD选项错在不是所有的孩子都把Homer当作榜样,文章只提到了Bart

It redirected the meltwater into a second river, the Alsek River可知Slims River的水流到另外一条河里去了,因此选B,同时排除D选项。

This means future river piracy could have disastrous (灾难性的) effects on towns, villages and ecosystems (生态系统) that have sprung up (涌现) around available water可知river piracy对生态环境和人类社会都有巨大的影响,选D,同时排除B选项。

But the case of the Slims River shows how gradual (缓慢的) temperature increases can bring sudden changes to the environment.

D4 1-4 BABD

1.  B。由文章“I took a paper and pencil, picked a desk, and went to work”一句可知作者刚到教室时自己安静地坐在一旁,因此B为正确答案。

2.  A。由文章“We were friends for more than 50 years. After her death seven years ago, I still think of her often”一句可知,两人的友谊持续了很长时间,直至Jane离世,因此答案为A。由“I had no idea”一句可知作者并非故意打伤Jane的鼻子,B项错误;由“After college, I moved to California and married. Jane stayed in our hometown to be a social worker.”

M: My plane leaves at 12:00 and ... Katy, are you crying?

W: Well, it’s summer vacation and you are going away.

Text 2

M: You’re looking well, Anna.

W: I played tennis last month, but I stopped. I’ve done a lot of swimming instead.

M: It shows. I’m thinking of playing basketball.

Text 3:

W: Room 518, on the fifth floor. Here is your key and the lift is around the corner.

M: Thanks. And could I arrange to be called at 7:00 am tomorrow, please?

W: Of course.

Text 4:

W: It must be the wind that makes it so cold. I’m freezing.

M: Me, too. Let’s go inside.

W: OK. It’s no fun standing out here, even if the sun is shining.

Text 5:

M: Hi, my name is Andrew. Are you from the US as well? I didn’t expect this train to be so nice.

W: Hi, I’m Maria. I’m actually from France. I’m going to Spain next.

Text 6:

W: Excuse me - does the No 208 bus go by Walmart?

M: No, it doesn’t, but you can change to the No 320 bus at the City Museum by taking the No 215 bus from here, or you can take the 108 to the public library and change to the 325 there.

W: It sounds quite far from here. How much does it cost?

M: Yeah, it’s really far. The bus fare is 50 cents for you and 25 cents for your daughter.

Text 7:

M: So, what’s your plan for this weekend?

W: I just want to stay at home.

M: How about going to see a movie?

W: Sorry. I have been so tired lately. I just want to have a good rest.

M: But I think going to a movie is a great way to relax.

W: You’re probably right.

M: Maybe we should go out to eat first.

W: Yeah, that sounds fun.

M: As pizza is your favorite, let’s meet at the Winter Pizza House. I heard they just came out with a new pizza.

W: Really? I haven’t been there for a long time. When shall we meet there?

M: Well, the movie is showing at 2:00 pm. and 4:00 pm.

W: How about the 2:00 pm show?

M: No problem. Let’s meet at the Winter Pizza House at 11:00 am.

W: Perfect. This way, we can have plenty of time to enjoy our pizza.

Text 8:

W: Susan speaking. What can I do for you?

M: Hello, I’d like to speak to Mr Brown, please.

W: I’m afraid he’s in a meeting at the moment. May I ask who’s calling?

M: Yes. This is Stephen Fern from Auburn Garden Centre. I want to arrange a meeting with Mr Brown.

W: Um, shall I get him to call you back?

M: Yes ... Oh, no, no ... I’m going to be quite busy myself for the rest of the day. Could you ask him to e-mail me? He’s got the address.

W: OK.

M: Er, could you ask him to suggest a few possible times for next week?

W: Sure. I’ll give him the message.

M: Thanks. By the way, could you tell him I can’t make next Wednesday?

W: OK. I’ll tell him that.

M: Thanks a lot then. Bye.

W: Bye.

Text 9:

W: Good morning, everyone. I’d like to introduce our guest to you - John Watson. We are happy to have John with us today to share his views on protecting the environment.

M: Thank you, Lucy. It’s really nice to be here. When I was seven years old, back in the 1940s, my father bought a large piece of land in eastern Australia. That land was completely natural. But this kind of country doesn’t exist any more.

W: What do you mean by that?

M: Well, let me explain. We went to live there when I was 10. When I was 12, the foxes and cats appeared. And by the time I was 14, there were no native animals left.

W: You mean, within 4 years, all the native animals had gone?

M: That’s exactly what I mean.

W: So the cats and the foxes killed all the native animals?

M: You are right. But back in the 1970s, people didn’t realize it. People thought farmers and miners killed all these animals, but not their lovely little cats.

Text 10:

Morning, everyone. Welcome to the Museum of Natural History. I’m Joe Smith. Before you take a look round, let me tell you about some of the things you should not miss here.

Here in the Entrance Hall, you can see some wonderful paintings of flowers and plants from all over the world. Upstairs on the left is our famous animal exhibition. You can see the models of some dinosaurs and some strange animals. On the right, there is a small theatre where you can watch a movie about what our planet looked like millions of years ago. The film lasts 45 minutes and it plays every hour. I advise all of you to watch it. Before you leave, don’t forget to visit the shop, where you can buy some wonderful models of animals, T-shirts, postcards and lots more. You can also buy a guidebook in the shop - it will cost you just one pound.

The museum will not close until 5 pm, so enjoy yourselves. Let’s go.
