Topic ：traveling
Task 2:
1. Do you like traveling? Why or why not?
I like traveling for a lot of reasons. First, it allows you to experience different cultures. Every place has its own fascinating history and cultural relics. Second, traveling can help you escape the pressures of modern life, even if just for a few days. Going on vacation can help you relax and enjoy the little things in life. Third, it gives you the opportunity to meet new and interesting people. Traveling can really help you open your mind to new ideas, and it lets you learn about how other people live in different places.
2. Which place would you like to travel to if you didn’t need to consider money or time? Why?
If I didn’t need to think about time or money, I would really like to travel around the world. For me, it is too difficult to choose just one place to travel to. This is because I want to see and experience everything our beautiful world has to offer. Every single place is filled with so much wonder. There are so many different and delicious local dishes to try, so many interesting people to meet and become friends with, and so many new places to discover.
3. Do you prefer traveling alone or with friends? Why?
I prefer traveling with friends. Although it is nice to have some alone time every once in a while, traveling with friends can really change your traveling experience. To me, friends just make the experience of traveling more complete. Sharing memorable experiences with friends is truly one of life’s greatest pleasures.
4. Which means of transportation do you prefer if you had to travel a long distance?
If I had to travel a long distance, I would prefer to fly on a plane. I have flown on a plane a few times, and the experience has always been really memorable. First, there is the excitement of taking off and saying goodbye to the city you are in. Then, you are high above the clouds, thinking about what wonderful adventures await you. Finally, when you are close to your destination, you can slowly see the world come into view. For me, it really completes the experience of traveling to a new place.
Task 3:
Li Hua plans to go on a trip with her family. Early in the morning on the day of the trip, her family will pack up the car with things like towels, swimsuits, a volleyball, and a picnic basket. They plan to go to the beach to soak up some sun. At the beach, Li Hua and her mom will play volleyball and Li Hua’s dad will swim nearby. Then, they will have a delicious picnic lunch that they packed earlier in the day. After a long day of enjoying themselves at the beach, Li Hua’s dad will drive them all back home. It is sure to be a wonderful day!
