Topic: my dream job
Task 2
1. What do you want to be when you grow up?
When I grow up, I want to be a teacher. Actually, this has been my dream job ever since I first started going to school. I think that if I work hard enough and try my best, then my dream of becoming a teacher will come true.
2. Why do you want this job?
I want to be a teacher because I have always loved learning. When I become a teacher, I can share my love of learning with my students – just like my teachers did with me! I think being a teacher would be a satisfying and rewarding job because I can help to make a positive impact on my students.
3. What qualities do you think you need for your dream job?
To be a good teacher, you have to be patient, caring, passionate and helpful. You have to understand the needs of each of your students to help them as much as possible. People have different strengths and weaknesses. What may come easy to one person, might be difficult for another. A good teacher can recognize this and help students improve themselves.
4. How would you do in your dream job?
I think I would do well as a teacher. I have always loved teaching people new things. For example, I taught my friends how to use the Cornell note-taking method and flashcards to help them study better. I think I can apply these skills to help students in the future, too.
