写作训练

AI translation has made our lives easier. With just a few clicks, people can read foreign news, understand academic papers, or even chat across languages. Its speed and accessibility make communication easier than ever. However, AI translation still faces problems. Sometimes it produces awkward expressions or fails to capture cultural nuances, which may cause mistakes.

In my view, AI translation is a helpful tool but cannot completely replace human translators. While it works well for everyday use, professional fields like literature or law still require human judgment.

Looking ahead, I believe AI translation will continue to improve with advances in technology. If it is combined with human knowledge, it will truly become a bridge connecting people worldwide.

Day 4

阅读理解 1-4 ADCC

Day 5 1-5 DACCB    6-10 CBDAC     11-15 BDACB

解析:

Day 1 1-4 CDCB

1. C。根据原文第一段 “According to a report ... the overseas readership of Chinese web novels rose quickly, from 230 million in 2023 to 352 million in 2024” 可知,作者开篇通过呈现具体的统计数据,引出文章主题。

2. D。根据原文第四段 “One big problem is accuracy, especially with wording that relies on cultural references, where nuance may be lost ... stories rich in Chinese culture, such as wuxia or fantasy, remain a blind spot” 可知,武侠、奇幻等作品富含中国文化元素,依赖文化背景理解,而 AI 在处理这类文化相关表述时容易丢失细微差别,因此难以胜任。

3. C。根据原文第五段 “it is still being debated who holds the right of authorship if a work is translated by AI and proofread by human translators” 可知,“AI 翻译、人类校对的作品归谁所有著作权这一问题仍在争论中,属于未解决的议题。

4. B。根据原文最后一段 “AI tools contribute to the efficiency and quality of translation, but many issues are still worth paying attention to and discussing” 可知,光明日报认为 AI 翻译虽有贡献,但仍存在诸多需要关注和探讨的问题,即它仍处于需要完善的发展阶段。

Day 2 1-4 ADAA

1. A。根据原文第二段 “Belief in conspiracy theories is often initiated by traumatic life events. Job loss or the death of a loved one can trigger anger and suspicion toward public services, authority figures and experts” 可知,相信阴谋论往往是由创伤性的生活事件引发的,比如失业、亲人离世等重大困境,这些经历会催生怀疑情绪,进而促使人们接触阴谋论。

2. D。根据原文第五段 “Conspiracy theories don’t merely offer alternative explanations for events; they are resources for communities that provide identity, purpose and belonging. These benefits may explain why it is difficult to talk people out of their beliefs in conspiracy theories” 可知,阴谋论所在的社群能为信徒提供身份认同、人生目标和归属感,满足了他们的核心需求,正是这些益处让人们难以放弃对阴谋论的信仰。

3. A。根据原文倒数第二段 “making them feel like experts and heroic detectives” 可知,参与阴谋论相关活动能让人们感觉自己像专家和侦探,这种感受是自我价值感的提升,因此 “self-esteem” 意为 自我价值感

4. A。根据原文最后一段 “Beyond generating more theories, conspiracy communities are becoming organized networks for protest and activism, which can come with serious risks. Many of those involved lose contact with family. When conspiracy theorists act without solid proof, they might target innocent people and hurt them” 可知,作者明确指出阴谋论社群存在严重风险,会导致参与者与家人失联,甚至让无辜者受到伤害,字里行间透露出批判态度。

Day 3 1-4 BABD

1. B。根据原文第一段“In the US, high school and college sports ... often seem to take center stage ... In many other countries like China, however, students spend most of their time preparing for standardized academic exams”,作者通过对比美国和部分其他国家(如中国)在教育重点上的差异,突出体现了文化中对体育和学术考试的不同优先级。

2. A。根据原文第二段“For young people from poor families, excelling in sports can be a way to escape poverty”可知,体育为美国学生——尤其是贫困家庭的学生——提供了通过体育奖学金支付学费、改变社会经济地位的机会。因此,可以推断体育在美国提供了社会流动性的机会。

3. B。根据原文第四段 “There is also a long tradition of linking athletics with character and leadership in the West. Many scholarships ... value students who are not only strong in academics but also active in sports ... The Rhodes Scholarship ... emphasizes excellence in both academics and athletics” 可知,罗德奖学金的例子是为了佐证西方教育重视 学术与体育兼备的全面发展人才。

4. D。最后一段总结道:“Young people adapt to the opportunities society gives them. What seems very different on the surface may be more similar than we first think”,表明尽管中美教育体系在表面上有差异,但本质上都反映了社会通过提供不同机会引导年轻人发展的共同逻辑。

Day 4 1-4 ADCC

1. A。由第1段中“I got lost and couldn’t find the stop … but even they struggled to explain to me how to get there.”可知,作者难以按时到达咖啡烘焙课的原因是这个地方不容易找到,故答案为A

2. D。由第2段中“I regretted my lack of planning”可知,作者后悔没有事先规划,故答案为D

3. C。通读全文可知,虽然作者上课前经历了一番波折,但却因祸得福,她跟随自己内心的每一次选择最终让她收获了一段美好回忆,故答案为C

4. C。通读全文可知,尽管旅途中有迷路和挫折,但作者不仅最终成功参加了课程,还认识了新朋友,一起度过了难忘的夜晚。这个经历表明,即使旅程充满不确定性,也可能带来意外的惊喜和收获,故答案为C
