1. D。 He returned to the Houston Rockets after a long absence due to in-jury in mid-December, but his performances seemed unimpressive.
However, many sports journalists seem to think McGrady’s done: nothing more than a circus act, a guy trying too hard to regain the form of his youth.
Or perhaps it’s time to give the man an chance to write one of the greatest comeback stories in NBA history, and in the process bring another title to Houston.
4. A。 Here are 10 of his tips for the holiday season,然后列举了这些建议。 故选A

从第6段 “No one ever mentioned those papers in class again. I never knew if they discussed them after class,…”

W: In France, plastic bags will be banned from 2010. But a campaign to raise people's awareness about the damage caused by plastic bags has been going on for more than 10 years.
Text 2M: Since 2002, the main 40 supermarkets and shopping malls in South Korea have asked for 100 won for a plastic bag. But consumers can get the money back if they return the bag after use.
Text 3W:
Bangladesh, which is poorer than China, banned plastic bags in 2002. It has closed 315 plastic bag factories, and the use of bags has been reduced by 90 percent.
M: Just before the World No Tobacco Day on May 31, 2007, China's first report on smoking came out. It shows that smoking is one of the top killers in China. The country has more than 350 million smokers, about one-fourth of the world's total number. Nearly 1 million die from smoking every year.
Many big cities have started to fight smoking, for example, Hong Kong, Beijing and Guangzhou. People are not allowed to smoke in most public places, such as restaurants, workplaces, museums and schools, etc.
Primary and middle school students may not smoke. Selling tobacco to anyone under the age of 18 is against the law.
Do you have a friend who smokes? Think hard how you can make him or her stop.
