在下文中也有这么一句话(第四段)"……We, too, get ready to defend ourselves or run. "
注意上文(第三段)"This animal will do one of the two things. It will defend itself or run…"
Give way to指被… Take up指继续;take off起飞;突然离去;突然大受欢迎;take on "流行;时髦"。
No! If you…feelings of anger…hidden away, or bottled up inside", 可确定是掩盖、压抑自己的情感,所以选hide。
11. 【A】keep + feelings of…
14. 【A】A. go away:离开,走开。B. go on:继续。C. go up:上升、升起、爆炸 D. go out 出发,熄灭,过时。
A. long before很久以前, B. long ago 很久以前,常用在一般过去时里 C. before long不久 D. right away立刻
18. 【A】19. If you say sb/sth is around, it means they exist or are present in a place.
A 吃光。

3. A。 I wanted to yell: “Hey, I’m down here!”
People who use wheelchairs want to be treated like everyone else.
People who are born with a silver spoon in their mouth,从后面导致的结果和Peter Buffett的家境可判断C正确。
6. C。 It is a belief that has allowed him to follow his own passions, establish his own identity, and reap (收获) his own successes. 可排除B。他根据It was encouraged for a moment when I was open to the idea可排除D。
7. D。依据是Buffett says that the only real inheritance (遗产) handed down from his parents was a philosophy (价值观): Forge your own path in life. It is a belief that has allowed him to follow his own passions, establish his own identity, and reap (收获) his own successes.。
8. B。 This isn’t about wealth or fame or money or any of that stuff, it is actually about values and what you enjoy and finding something you love doing.”
10. C。由“When parents find it difficult to understand their children, the children can say more things without the censorship (审查) of their parents.”
11. A。由“a lot of British people can’t understand each other either!”以及“Apart from the different regional accents across the country, language can also differ among age groups.” 由 “Some people consider “yoof” to be a negative term, since its pronunciation is easier than “youth”.”
12. B。由Rather than saying something like “That’s good!” or “I understand”, yoof will use a single adjective like “Safe!”, “Sorted!”, “Sound!”, “Cool!” or “Wicked!”
13. C。依据是...was the first one to determine how much time needed to be spent on green exercise for the benefits to show.
14. A。 Just five minutes of exercise a day outdoors can improve mental health, according to a study.
17. B。文章的第一段和最后一段清楚告诉我们本文的目的:“think about what we really need to buy”和 “become ‘conservers’”,而没有提对产品如何了解更多等,如何买得更值,所以只有B正确。。
18. C。文章倒数第二段第二句告诉我们要选择“environmentally friendly products that last a long time”,耐用的产品对环境有利。
19. C。根据最后一段 “your life will become richer”,和第二段的 “the unemployed are given more opportunities to work”,可以确定ab对。
Nowadays, it is becoming common to lead a low-carbon lifestyle. We know that carbon dioxide is the major greenhouse gas that causes global warming. By living a low-carbon life, we can cut carbon dioxide emissions, which may contribute to stopping the temperature from rising.
There are many ways of leading an environmentally friendly life. For instance, we can turn off electrical appliances like lights, the television and the computer when we aren’t using them. Cars not only cause serious air pollution but also waste energy, so we could walk or ride a bicycle for short trips. If we need to travel a long distance we can take public transportation. It’s also wise to use reusable cloth bags and not disposable plastic bags when we shop.
I believe that as long as each of us makes a small change to cut carbon emissions, we can make a big difference and develop a harmonious relationship with the environment.
