D3 1-4 DCBD
D4 1-4 BCAD
D5 听力:1-5 BBACC 6-10 BAABA 11-15 BBCAA 16-20 BCCAA
解析
Day 21. D。 While Chinese culture values modesty, American culture values confidence and self-promotion.
It casts the spotlight on the whole team,可知是说大家都贡献了自己的力量。
He explained precisely how and where the doctor’s forceps at birth had damaged the frontal lobe of my brain.
Day 41.
3. A. 根据“To Rebecca’s surprise, the shopkeepers agreed”判断店主是认可Rebecca的观点的。
A篇
“Do you insist on doing things yourself that could be delegated to others?”由前后句的逻辑关系可知“be delegated to others”和“doing things yourself”是对立的,delegate是“委派”的意思。
从原句中stopped using…; turned off…
3. D A选项与第二部分第二条skate and ride where it's safe: Stay away from roads相矛盾,所以错,再根据下句话可知D对。
4. D 根据提问中when you're about to fall, (注意是将要摔倒)只要读第二部分最后一条。
E篇
1-4 BBDA
An early invention by Albert Einstein has been rebuilt by scientists at Oxford University. Now Malcolm McCulloch, an electrical engineer at Oxford, is leading a three-year project to develop appliances that can be used in places without electricity.
A项的根据在第四段but the technology was dropped when more efficient compressors became popular in the 1950s. That meant a switch to using freons.
第五段提到了爱因斯坦的冰箱设计takes advantage of the fact that liquids boil at lower temperatures when the air pressure around them is lower,也就是它的设计原理。

M: Ok, let’s begin. What do you think of these events?

M: Oh, you do know him. But what about him?
W: Yao didn’t have much experience when he first came here. Now he is doing a wonderful job. Sometimes our Rockets can’t win without him.
M: Yes. We like him a lot. His playing is exciting now. But last time he was playing for the CBA, do you know why?
W: Yao also plays with the CBA. When his country needs him, he has no choice.
M: You are a real basketball fan. Next Friday, come to my place to watch Yao’s next NBA game.
W: OK, I’ll be glad to.
Text10
A caller to a British radio phone-in show died while on air, the program's host said today as he described his shock.
The regular caller, known only as Terry, had telephoned in to a late-night debate yesterday on Liverpool's Magic FM 1548 station in northwest England when the line suddenly went silent.
Disc jockey Pete Price was so worried he stopped his show and sped to the man's house – but it was already too late.
"I knew something was wrong when the line went silent," he said. "It was awful, when I got there the ambulance was already outside his house.
"He was found in his chair with the phone by his side. I was shocked."
A neighbour, also listening to Price's show, had broken into Terry's house and found him dead. It is thought the man suffered a heart attack.
