高三版

D1 1-5 CEAGB

D2 1-4 DABC

D3 1-3 AAD

D4 1-4 CBAD

D5 听力:1-5 CACCB 6-10 CBBAC 11-15AABBC 16-20 BA ABA

解析

Day 2

1. 文章The 'emos'这部分的and their haircuts which usually have a long fringe 可知D正确。

2. 根据the Goths这部分的this small group of teenagers were dressed from head to toe in

3. 根据提到hoodies说(they were) named after their hooded sweatshirts.

Day 3

1. A。 According to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the wild tiger population has shrunk 97 percent in 100 years because of hunting and shrinking habitats.

Jean-Christoph Vie, …, suggested the tiger could be seen as a test-case for whether countries are really serious about saving biological diversity.

Day 4

1.根据第一段可知作者对院墙很满意,用了professionally修饰,之后对the front of the house就用了转折,而且说是in a hurry to finish,所以C正确。

2. 根据第二段whenever we had left over flowers or plants…

Text 1

W: What are the requirements for the course?

M: There’ll be a quiz every Monday and a final exam. Also, you’re required to go to the language lab two hours each week.

Text 2

M: Professor Atkinson, can I see you after this class?

W: I’m due at a meeting then, how about the same time on Friday?

Text 3

M: Nancy, can you help me type this report, please? It’s on the big air-crash last night.

W: Why me? I have a lot of work to do.

M: You are the best typist in the office, you know.

W: But your reports are always the longest.

M: Well, this one is very long because it’s about the worst crash in years.

Text 4

M: Now, this one shows the view right out of my hotel room.

W: Wow, it looks just like a postcard!

Text 5

W: Can I help you?

M: Yes, I bought this telephone three days ago, but I’m afraid it doesn’t work. I’d like to change it for another one.

W: Have you got your receipt, please?

M: Yes, here it is.

W: Thank you. Just a moment, please.

Text 6

W: I hope it rains today.

M: Why?

W: Well, if it rains on your birthday, it means you make lots of money this year.

M: How do you know that?

W: That’s what grandfather says every time it rains on someone’s birthday.

M: We’re having a party tonight.

W: Are we?

M: It’s a surprise party. I’ve invited some friends over. Susan doesn’t know about it yet.

W: Right. Aren’t you taking Susan to a concert?

M: Yes, but I’m taking her to the party afterwards. Shall I ask Peter to pick you up at ten?

W: Oh, no, that would be too much trouble. I can make it there by myself. Where’s the party?

Text 7

M: Good evening, madam. May I help you?

W: Yes, I’d like to have a bigger room. You know, you didn’t have bigger ones when I checked in because the London Export Commodities Fair was being held. So I’ve been staying in a small one.

M: I see. The fair was over yesterday. Now we do have vacant bigger rooms. When do you want to change the room?

W: Tomorrow evening.

M: I’d like to let you know that the check-out time is 12:00 noon. You have to move to the other room before 12:00, otherwise you’ll have to pay half of the rate more for the room in which you are staying now.

W: I see. What’s the rate for a bigger room?

M: 140 pounds per night. By the way, would you like a room facing the Thames or a room facing Big Ben?

W: I’d prefer a room facing the Thames. I enjoy the river view at night.

M: Very good. May I have your name and room number, please?

W: My name is Cathy and I’m staying in Room 2257.

M: Thank you. Your new room number is Room3136.

Text 8

M: Hello! This is Bill Black, a student at South China University of Science and Technology. Do you still have a one-bedroom apartment for rent?

W: Hello. Yes, we do.

M: How much is the rent?

W: It’s 400 yuan per month. But you do the house cleaning for yourself.

M: I see. How about the telephone?

W: Well, you should ask the telephone company to install it for you, and you pay the bills yourself. By the way, it is also your responsibility to contact the gas company and the power company for gas and electricity.

M: All right. Can I go over and take a look at the apartment.

W: Sure. Why not? Do you think you’ll have any difficulty in finding us?

M: I don’t think so. I have a map with me. I’ll be there in half an hour.

W: See you then.

M: Bye.

Text 9 (Three people)

Mother: Oh, Sally, I do wish you wouldn’t wear such an awful T-shirt that shows everything!

Sally: But that’s the fashion now. Everyone wears this kind of shirt in our school.

Father: What about the blue jeans then?

Sally: They are also in fashion this year, Dad. Besides, the jeans are from Tim for my birthday. I like them.

Mother: But where did you get those terrible cuts?

Sally: The cuts? Oh mum. I need them to keep myself cool.

Father: You could wear the dress I bought you in Paris, dear.

Sally: It’s out of fashion now.

Father: A young lady is supposed to wear decent dresses.

Sally: I’m sorry, Dad. But I don’t have any decent dresses to wear.

Father: What! Your wardrobe is full of new dresses. And you are telling me you don’t have any dress to wear!

Mother: It’s not her fault, darling. TV advertisements always say that a woman can’t have too many dresses.

Text 10(M) My friend, Vernon Davis kept birds. One day he phoned and told me he was going away for a week. He asked me to feed the birds for him and said that he would leave the key to his front door in my mailbox. Unfortunately, I forgot all about the birds until the night before Vernon was going to return. What was worse, it was already dark when I arrived at his house. I soon found the key Vernon left for me could not unlock either the front door or the back door. I was getting anxious and disappointed. I kept thinking of what Vernon would say when he came back. I was just going to give up when I noticed that one bedroom window was slightly open. I found a barrel and pushed it under the window. As the barrel was very heavy, I made a lot of noise, but in the end, I managed to climb up and open the window. I actually had one leg inside the bedroom when I suddenly realized that someone was shining a torch at me. I looked down and saw a policeman and an old lady, one of Vernon’s neighbors. “What are you doing up there?” said the policeman. Feeling like a complete fool, I replied, “I was going to feed Mr. Davis’ birds.”
