A lecturer at the Tianjin University of Commerce has found himself in deep trouble after Liu Qiangdong, the founder, chairman and CEO of Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com, *sued him for *alleged *libel, demanding a total of more than 8 million yuan. Liu’s lawsuit targets a series of weibo posts Wang published earlier this year, which republished and commented on rumors about Liu’s reported breakup with his girlfriend, Zhang Zetian.
