Taobao.com is well known for selling almost anything. And recently, Kunming University has been taking advantage of the online shopping system to promote its graduates. According to Xinhuanet.com, the university launched a Taobao talent shop to “sell” its graduates to employers. The resumes of 65 graduates from the university were put online and their minimum monthly salary was set at 1,000 yuan. The university said it would verify the company before it bid for graduates. The deal can only be made when a company “buys” a graduate and that student is willing to take the offer.
