When the opportunity arose for me to do some summer traveling, my first *inclination was to visit Japan. But being budget-conscious, I quickly realized Japan just wasn’t the best choice. I turned my *gaze to somewhere I knew would be less expensive – Southeast Asia – and eventually settled on Thailand.
