Learning from farmers about how to grow our food: Have you ever wondered how to grow the rice and vegetables you eat every day? Luckily, my classmates and I had the opportunity (机会) to learn about farming at a local farm last semester. We were taught by some farmers how crops grow and at what time to do what kind of farming work. It really broadened our horizons (开阔我们的眼界). Then we picked up corn and piled it up (堆起), enjoying the happiness of a good harvest (收获). Look at our smiley faces. This activity not only enriched our farming knowledge, but also enhanced our friendship and helped us realize how fantastic nature is.
