During the 2015 European Rover Challenge on Sept 5 in Checiny, southern Poland, a student member of BLUEsat Off-World Robotics, an Australian team from The University of New South Wales, transports the team’s rover. The challenge is the biggest open-air robotics and space event in Europe for student teams from all around the world. The goal is to build a robot that will compete in simulated navigational, geological and Mars field tasks. A total of 27 university teams from 12 countries participated in this year’s competition, which took place for the first time in 2007.AFP
