Wang Yixuan, 25, a graduate student at Johns Hopkins University, was planning to get Internet and TV service for her new semester in the US. She went to Verizon, the US’ largest wireless communications service provider, only to be told that she couldn’t enjoy the service because her credit score wasn’t high enough.
