PRESIDENT Xi Jinping has said that he has a soccer dream. And so do the Chinese people. Now, an overall plan for soccer development may get us one step closer to that dream. On April 11, China published a long-term timetable for developing soccer for the first time. The goal is to become one of the world’s top soccer nations by 2050.
