Spanish bullfighter (斗牛士) Juan Jose Padilla performs a pass on a bull with a cloak (披风) during a bullfight at the Maestranza bullring in Seville, Spain. Bullfighting is probably one of the best-known yet most controversial (有争议的) Spanish traditions. Following a certain ritual (惯例), several bullfighters carry out many different moves, and in the end the senior fighter kills the bull. Although many have spoken out against this “blood sport”, bullfighters are highly respected for their strength, skills and bravery. Bullfighting is also considered one of Spain’s national symbols(象征).
