Higher education rankings show China first in Asia

WHILE it is widely known that the US is home to the world’s best higher education, China is catching up. The 2016 Higher Education System Strength rankings, released by London-based education consulting (咨询的) company QS on May 18, placed China at eighth worldwide, followed by South Korea, which ranked ninth. Japan was 10th.
