THE University of Central Lancashire, a British university founded in 1828, has been working in China for 30 years. Building on the foundations it laid down with a number of key institutions (机构) throughout China, the university has long been providing Chinese students and staff with a variety of opportunities to study overseas. Here Mike Thomas, vice-chancellor (副校长) of the University of Central Lancashire, shares with us an overview of the changing landscape (局面) for Chinese people studying in the UK.
