Forgiving can restore (修复) a broken friendship. The famous feud (积怨) between two popular US singers, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift, has lasted for years. And now, it may be over, following an apology from Perry to Swift. “I’m ready to let it go, 100 percent. I forgive her, and I’m sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her ... I think it’s time.” Katy Perry said during an interview shared on Twitter. Their conflicts started in 2012 when Perry hired three backup dancers from Swift during her Red Tour concert. Perry added, “I really, truly, want to come together, and in a place of love and forgiveness, and understanding and compassion (同情).”
