On June 12, star player Kevin Durant won his first NBA championship for the Golden State Warriors and defeated “the King”, LeBron James from the Cleveland Cavaliers. After losing the NBA finals, James gave Durant a hand slap, a hug and a pat on the head, showing his respect for Durant’s performance. Kevin Durant achieved what he’s tried to do since 2012, but was stopped by James until 2017’s NBA Finals.
