Have you seen the documentary (纪录片) Masters in the Forbidden City? It shows how people fix cultural relics (文物), such as paintings and clocks. Now, students have the chance to try to do this kind of work themselves. Nanjing Museum held a camp for students during the winter break. Eighty students participated in it. They learned how to repair the pages of books that were written during the Qing Dynasty (朝代). They also made ink rubbings (拓片) of paintings on bricks (砖).
