Figure skating (花样滑冰) isn’t common in China, but the Japanese skater Yuzuru Hanyu (羽生结弦), who got a gold medal in the men’s single figure skating competition in the 2018 Winter Olympics, enabled (使能够) me to gain a better understanding of this sport.
