An 85-year-old Brazilian woman is getting her first embrace in five months from a nurse through a “hug curtain (帘子)” during the COVID-19 pandemic. The edges (边缘) of the yellow plastic (塑料) were folded (折叠) into a shape that looks like a pair of butterfly wings. This picture won the World Press Photo of the Year award from the World Press Photo Foundation. Danish photographer Mads Nissen took the picture. “The main message of this image is empathy (共情).
