If you can’t sleep well, you could eat some onions! Eating onions can make people sleepy (困的) because they are rich in L-tryptophan (色氨酸). It’s a natural sedative (镇静剂). It not only helps you fall asleep, but also keeps you at rest throughout the night. There are other foods that also have L-tryptophan in large quantities (量), such as bananas, peaches, tomatoes, cabbages and mushrooms (蘑菇).
