MOST COMMON FOOD ALLERGENS

A new study showed that food allergies (过敏) affected 8 percent of Chinese people from 2009 to 2018. The number was 5 percent from 1999 to 2008. Food allergies are increasing among Chinese people. Meanwhile, Chinese people are more likely to be allergic to seafood, and less likely to be allergic to peanuts compared to people in the United States and Europe.
