At this year’s Global English Education China Assembly, Willy A Renandya, a language teacher educator at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, delivered a keynote speech titled “Teach less so students can learn more . ”He focused on student-centred teaching, discussing how teachers can use motivational strategies to kindle students’interest in learning, which is highly recommended by many English teachers in China who attended the assembly.
