Japanese literary great Kenzaburo Oe passed away at age 88

Kenzaburo Oe, a famous Japanese author, passed away on March 3 at the age of 88. He won Japan its second Nobel Prize in literature with books about the horrors (恐怖) of war and his disabled son.
