Pumped storage hydropower (PSH, 抽水蓄能) is an important renewable energy technology. In August, China’s biggest PSH station was put into use in Fengning, Hebei. The station has 12 units, each with a capacity of 300,000 kilowatts. At present, China ranks first globally in terms of this technology.
