On Nov 10, Chinese snooker star Ding Junhui, 37, beat Englishman Chris Wakelin in the final of the World Snooker Tour International Championship in Nanjing, Jiangsu. This was his first title since winning his third UK Championship in 2019, after losing in his last three finals. Ding came from behind to secure a thrilling 10-7 victory, which made him jump from 93rd to seventh in the sport’s “one-year” ranking list and from ninth to eighth in the world rankings.
