How much is an egg? It is less than 1 yuan. But now in the US, an egg is over $0.75  (about 5.5 yuan). Still, these expensive eggs are hard to get. Many supermarkets only let people buy one dozen eggs. Eggs are often sold out one hour after supermarkets open!
