Since October, the northern part of China has been getting a lot of rain. In regions like Hebei, Shanxi and Inner Mongolia, the amount of rain even broke records. Experts say this has a lot to do with a strong weather system called a subtropical high (副热带高压). It forms from the Hadley cell (哈德莱环流), which is a part of the global atmospheric circulation (全球大气环流).
