This is an aerial (航拍的) photo I took last year during my trip to the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop (青甘大环线). It shows an impressive concentrated solar power generation system in Delingha, Qinghai province. This power system is located at an altitude (海拔) of about 3,000 meters. Built on the “roof of the world”, these facilities shine brightly under the clear plateau (高原) sky. It was amazing to see such cutting-edge technology blend (融合) so well with the great natural scenery there. I called this photo A Pillar of the Great Power at the Foot of the Kunlun Mountains. Seeing such achievements filled me with pride and awe (敬畏) at China’s rapid progress in renewable energy.
