Editor's note: To mark the International Year of the Woman Farmer 2026, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations has recognized 100 women from around the world as its 100 Women Heroes in Agrifood Systems and Rural Development. Among them are three Chinese women, Yin Yuzhen, Dong Minfang and Yu Jinxiu. They have done amazing work in different fields.
