Background information
KOTESOL was established in October 1992. It aims to promote scholarship, disseminate information, and facilitate cross-cultural understanding among persons associated with the teaching and learning of English from all points of Korea and the globe.
KOTESOL is an independent national affiliate of TESOL Inc., an international education association with headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia, USA. It works closely with TESOL branches in many other countries and regions.
