UK help for language studies英国设立基金会奖学金资助学生语言学习


  BRITISH students struggling to afford to take language courses could get help following the launch of a scholarship scheme. The Suzanne Furstner Foundation scholarship was announced last week by Cactus Tefl, a UK-based advice and admissions service for TEFL courses. The foundation also helps fund school study trips, provides course books and arranges free courses for organizations.

  
Nigerian novelist takes Man Booker Prize尼日利亚作家获布克国际文学奖


  NIGERIAN novelist Chinua Achebe won the 2007 Man Booker International Prize for fiction on June 13. Achebe has written more than 20 books and is best known for his novel Things Fall Apart and Anthills of the Savannah.
