FROM March 31 migrants who pre-pay for English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses from Immigration New Zealand as part of their residency application have up to five years to use their funds. Previously migrants had up to three and a half years to take their ESOL courses. The objective of the ESOL courses is to ensure that migrants have sufficient English language skills to integrate into New Zealand society.

GROWING numbers of institutions across the globe are accepting GRE General Test scores for admission to graduate business school and MBA studies in addition to GMAT to increase and diversify the business program applicant pool. Compared with GMAT which does not measure business skills, the GRE General Test includes questions presented in a business context.
