THE Olympic Games has a long legacy, the ability to define the current age – who could watch the Opening Ceremony and not feel history was being made? – and the influence to reshape a city. As a Briton, I can’t help but wonder how China’s Olympic year will influence London’s handling of the Games in 2012 and reshape the city I love.
