CUI Zhuowen, 22, has been to Pattia, Thailand twice as a volunteer to teach rural kids. The applied economics major, from United International College in Zhuhai, Guangdong province, paid her own expenses for her last trip during the summer vacation. 21st Century talked to Cui about how she became involved and what she learned.
