CHINA has its own version (版本) of Ugly Betty. The first season of Ugly Wudi, a Chinese adaptation (改编) of the American comedy drama, will come out on September 28 on Hunan Television. The protagonist (主人公), Lin Wudi, made her first public appearance last Tuesday.
